Dental care is an integral aspect of what the Clinic attempts in providing holistic care. Dr. Mike Winters, from the diocese of New Ulm, MN was especially instrumental in developing the dental facility in the clinic, furnishing it with state-of-the-art equipment and training for dental assistants.

The facility is staffed by dental assistants who manage the dental clinic and who provide important preventive care through routine cleanings and fluoride treatments. The dental assistants also provide professional services and work with visiting dentists from the United States in sealing children's teeth, making dentures and fillings, and providing extractions, among other primary care procedures. School children from San Lucas and the surrounding area, approximately 5,000 to 10,000 students, are encouraged to visit the dental clinic at no charge.
